I was talking to my boy last night about the thing that Ortiz and dear Jonathan have in common. I'm not sure I've ever seen two people less likely to stress out and sabotage themselves in tight situations. They seem immune to the fact that a certain inning or a certain at bat is supposed to be tough or more important than any other at bat. They have consistent mastery and control. Like, maybe that's all clutch is, maintaining that relaxed control under all circumstances.
