We don't care about the products we can buy or the premium club memberships or whether the .406 club has windows.
Even if we did care about the ball or any of that stuff, there are plenty of lost things we care about more. Our GM. Our starting rotation. Our bullpen. Our first baseman. Our left fielder.
We don't care about "the cherished symbol of suffering redeemed". We care about not going back to that suffering just two years later. And really, in the face of the rest of what's happening to the team this winter, the more I hear about this piddly bullshit, the more insulting it gets.
Give that some thought, guys.
