Hello assholes! Manny has 92 RBI and 28 home runs a month after the All-Star break. You want to throw that away?  To some, I guess that doesn't matter, but to me it sure as fuck does. Know why? I WANT THE BASEBALL TEAM TO WIN. I DO NOT CARE IF EVERY MEMBER OF MY BASEBALL TEAM IS A FLAWLESS HUMAN BEING. THE END.

Manny is one of the greatest hitters we've ever employed on this team. He is the WORLD SERIES MVP. Think about those three words for a second. Before this past year, did you ever think we'd have one? If someone had suggested to you last year that Manny would become the World Series MVP, and then we would boo him the very next season while the team was in FIRST. FUCKING. PLACE, what would've been your reaction?

I am so incredibly pissed off at this, I can't even really articulate it. What a slap in the face to what this team has given us. Have we really forgotten that quickly? Are we really going to let soulless manipulators like Gerry Callahan and Dan Shaughnessy push us into this kind of behavior? Do we really have no brain in this fucking city?

It makes me absolutely sick to my stomach to see the hurt and anger from David Ortiz. The bewilderment. I don't blame him one bit. It makes me sick. That after what those two men did for this town last year, we'd be so miserable to both.

Are all those people outside our town who paint it in a terrible light actually more right than I've realized? Are we really just a place full of miserable losers that doesn't want to win, let alone deserve it? Are we really not happy unless we're unhappy, and everyone else in our presence is too? Are we really a city, a fanbase, of ridiculous, petulant teenage girls?

I'm telling you, much as I love this team and this sport, and this town in so many ways, if this is the way things are going to be, right now it feels to me like I'd rather not bother.

If I see anyone boo Manny at the game tonight, I swear to God, I will throw down with them. I will have a brawl in the bleachers. I am not kidding.

I fucking hate my fellow fans right now.
